The role of Configuration Control and PA Engineer contains three elements:
Change Control Boards Support, Project Configuration and Project Product Assurance Support.

Requirements:

Tasks

Change Control Boards Support
• Implementation, maintenance and operation of processes and methods to ensure completeness and coherency of the various baselines and change records required.
• Verification of completeness and correctness of each proposed Change Record.
• Track Action Items as agreed on the Change Control Boards and seek input from various authorities when needed.
• Support to prepare, perform and report Configuration Verification and Audits including following up on corrective and improvement actions.
• To prepare and maintain Configuration and Information Management plans relevant to the mission or Ground Segment project you will support.

Project Configuration
• Define, implement, configure, populate and maintain shared configuration data and documentation repositories and their contents including in particular requirements, documentation, change records, anomaly and non-conformance reports for the supported project.
• Define, implement, operate and validate processes to capture and verify configuration data and status.

Project Product Assurance Support
• Generation and maintenance of a Quality and Product Assurance Plan in response to the agencies requirements.
• Performance of specific Requirement Management process tasks like; Requirement- Traceability Analysis Reports and Impact Analysis Reports, to support the Project Team. Including requirement traceability analysis and requirement change impact analysis.
• Organisation of a Risk Management process; capture of risk management data into database.
• Monitor industrial performance for the implementation of Quality and Product Assurance requirements and the organisation of customer acceptance activities which shall be provided to the Project Manager.
• Project Management support; support for the definition, maintenance and elaboration of Key Performance Indicators.
• Project Reviews; including the definition of review plans and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Profile:
• Applicants for this position should have a University degree or equivalent qualification in (Systems or Software) Engineering field and have significant and sound experience in the domains covered by this position; configuration management and systems design.
• Strong technical background in Earth Observation and Ground Segment domain and experienced in Earth Observation Ground Segment development and operations.
• Experience in Project Management and autonomy in preparing meeting agendas and writing minutes of meetings.
